BRINGING HUMANS TOGETHER LIKE THE COLORS OF A TIE-DYE
MADE IN CALIFORNIA - WORN AROUND THE WORLD

Tie-Dye Care
Tie-dye looks best when it is cared for properly. Follow these simple steps to help your colors stay bright, your fabric stay soft, and your design stay bold.

How to Rinse Tie-Dye the First Time
After the dye has set, rinse the garment under cool water until the excess dye begins to run clear. Remove rubber bands carefully, then continue rinsing until the fabric no longer releases loose color.
How to Wash Tie-Dye
Wash tie-dye separately for the first few washes to protect other clothing from color transfer. Use cold or cool water and a gentle detergent to help preserve the design.
How to Dry Tie-Dye
Tumble dry on low or hang the item to air dry. Avoid high heat right away if you want to help the colors stay vibrant longer.
Keeping Colors Bright
Turn the garment inside out when washing, avoid harsh bleach, and wash with like colors once the dye has fully settled. If you want your tie-dye to last, treat it like a favorite piece you plan to wear often.
What to Avoid
-
Do not wash newly dyed items with whites.
-
Do not use bleach unless you want a faded effect.
-
Do not use very hot water for early washes.
-
Do not skip the first rinse.
